01 Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using LoqChat ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and LoqChat.
02 Description of Service
LoqChat provides real-time voice translation services that allow users to communicate across language barriers. The App uses advanced speech recognition and machine translation technologies to facilitate multilingual conversations. Features include live voice translation, session-based multi-party conversations, and translation history.
03 User Accounts
You must create an account to use certain features of the App. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to update it as necessary. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
04 Privacy and Data Collection
Your use of the App is subject to our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in the Privacy Policy. We collect voice recordings during active translation sessions solely for the purpose of providing the translation service. Recordings are processed in real-time and are not permanently stored on our servers unless you explicitly save them to your history.
05 Microphone and Device Permissions
The App requires access to your device's microphone to provide voice translation services. By granting microphone access, you acknowledge that the App will record audio when you initiate a translation session. You may revoke microphone access at any time through your device settings, though this will prevent the App from functioning as intended.
06 Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the App to:
- Transmit any unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, or defamatory content
- Violate any applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations
- Infringe on any intellectual property rights
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its related systems
- Use the App for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent
- Engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the App's services
07 Translation Accuracy
While we strive to provide accurate translations, LoqChat does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any translation. The App is not intended for use in situations where translation errors could result in significant harm, including but not limited to medical, legal, or safety-critical communications. You use translation results at your own risk.
08 Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the App, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are the exclusive property of LoqChat and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
09 Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LoqChat shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App. Our total liability for any claims arising from these terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.
10 Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or via email. Your continued use of the App after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.
